How to Add Substrate to an Existing Aquarium

I created this video to show how I added new ADA Aquasoil to the tank. This method can be used for gravel and sand as well. It is a relatively mess-free method. Hardly any of the Aquasoil dust escaped. The bottle makes it easy to target where you want to lay the substrate.

  1. Thnaks so much for this! TvT My tank is only gravel and I want to add a substrate in but I don’t want to take the fish out but I read that it’s quite messy and … *sigh* well it just sounded like such a hassle. But this methods seems so easy. I’m going to try this, and hopefully the fish don’t get to stressed. ^^
    thanks again!
